The Yankton Board of City Commissioners and Yankton Thrive understand the importance housing plays in the economic and social health of our community.  The City and Yankton Thrive have partnered to facilitate the creation of housing studies to help provide a clearer picture of where we are now, and where we need to go as it relates to housing in the community. 

The updated Yankton Housing Study provides excellent information related to the current housing situation in Yankton and recommendations for future action. It is hoped that the information in the study serves as a catalyst for housing development in general while specifically targeting the identified areas of greatest need.
