A Home Based Daycare may be located in any residential zone.  A Home Based Daycare is one providing care and supervision of children from more than one (1) unrelated family in a one-family or two-family dwelling on a regular basis for part of a day as a supplement to regular parental care.

Home Based Daycare requirements:

• Minimum of one hundred (100) square feet of outdoor play area for each child to be cared for in the rear or side yard.  Fenced play area with a four (4) foot or taller fence from any adjoining lot.
• Maximum number of children allowed in a home based daycare is 11.
