Twelve computers with printing capabilities are available for patrons to access. 

Through the Community Connect initiative, the American Library Association (ALA) and Capital One have partnered to expand the service capacity of rural libraries by providing 5 hotspots and 5 laptops for checkout.

Four scanners are available for public use.

The physical microfilm collection here at the library contains copies of newspapers and census records from around Yankton County from 1876-2016. These newspapers are digitized, and we recommend viewing them online HERE.

Library staff delivers materials to anyone who, because of limitations, finds it difficult to come to the library. Contact the library to begin receiving this service.

The library maintains two notaries public for the state of South Dakota. There is no fee for the service, but calling ahead is recommended. 

The DVD collection contains feature and documentary movies and television series for all age ranges.

LEGO kits are a small assortment of LEGOS, minifigures, and challenge cards.

Light therapy lamps mimic natural outdoor lighting with 10,000 lux. Lights may help to improve your mood and energy when added to your regular self-care. There are two lamps available for checkout.

A museum pass allows up to two adults and six children to visit the Mead Museum in Yankton, South Dakota. Learn more about the Mead Museum at www.meadbuilding.org.

The NASA Backpack is provided through our NASA@My Library grant. The backpack contains a telescope, accessories, space-themed books, and a coding mouse.

Projector 

A Vivitek projector is available for checkout. The projector is compatible with laptops, DVD players, video game consoles, and tablets.

Projector Screen

One projector screen is available for checkout.

Overhead Projector 

One overhead projector is available for checkout.

Sound System 

A Fender PA system is available for checkout. The sound system contains two handheld microphones, speakers, and tripod speaker stands. A microphone stand is available upon request.

Pool passes to the Summit Activities Center and Huether Family Aquatics Center are available for checkout.

A park pass to the South Dakota State Parks allows one vehicle to visit the SD State Parks. The SD State Park Pass does not include anything but admission to the park; any licensing or fees associated with camping, fishing, hunting, etc., is the responsibility of the pass holder to pay and obtain. Through the Toy Lending Library of South Dakota, to offer toy bins for checkout. Bins contain a toy (or toys) for a particular age, a related book to read with your child, and information about age-appropriate milestones.
