Fee Schedule

Issuance of plumbing permits and inspections is subject to the South Dakota Plumbing Commission effective March 18, 2019. 

The City of Yankton has adopted amendments to the plumbing code for service line materials, tracer wires and service line depths and enforces those requirements.

While the city does not issue plumbing permits, the activities listed below do require a City of Yankton permit or a license: 

•  Licensing and bonding of plumbing contractors working within the city limits.
•  Issuance of water meters.
•  Issuance of tapping permits for water and sewer services.
