The City of Yankton has declared noxious vegetation to be a nuisance and it is the duty of property owners to cut or chemically treat noxious vegetation to prevent its growth. Grasses greater than eight inches in height are included in this definition of noxious vegetation.

Citizens can call 668-5251 to report the growth of noxious vegetation or grass that has grown over eight inches in height.
