The City of Yankton is currently accepting applications for American Red Cross Lifeguards for The Huether Family Aquatics Center and the Summit Activities Center.                      

Employees will be responsible for enforcing and overseeing the rules of the swimming pool during swimming hours.  Duties include but are not limited to lifeguarding, general maintenance, daily clean up of facility spaces and places, and other given tasks.  Lifeguards must be currently certified with Lifeguard Training.  Individuals 15 years and over may obtain a Lifeguard Certification. Weekend and/or evening work may be required.  Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. Applicants must be at least 15 years old.
